02Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our services, or contact us for support. We also collect information automatically when you use our platform.
Information you provide includes:

- Business information necessary for our ecommerce management services

- Usage and diagnostic logs (IP address, browser, timestamps)
- Cookies and analytics identifiers
- Device and browser information
Google User Data
If you sign in with Google or grant the application access to Google resources, we may request and access the following Google data — only when required for the product features you enable:
- Basic account info (email address, profile ID)
- Google Drive file metadata required to identify spreadsheets that you authorize our app to access
- Google Sheets content for spreadsheets you authorize us to read or edit (for example, to list sheets or add rows)
- OAuth access tokens to perform actions on your behalf limited to the scopes you approve

We only request the smallest set of scopes required for the functionality you enable. We do not request broader Drive scopes unless explicitly required and explained during authorization.

- List spreadsheets and sheet names when you connect Google Sheets to our app

04Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your Google user data or personal information.
We may share data with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payment processors). We require such providers to use data only as instructed and to maintain appropriate security measures.
We may disclose data when required by law or to protect our legal rights, prevent fraud, or ensure the security of our platform and users.
05Data Retention & Deletion
We keep personal data only as long as we need it to deliver the service:
- While your eGrow account is active: customer data we sync from Shopify (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, order history) is kept for the lifetime of your subscription. We don't archive or share it.
- When you uninstall eGrow from your Shopify store: we immediately mark your account as inactive and stop processing new data. Within 48 hours of uninstall, when Shopify calls our shop/redact webhook, we permanently delete all personal data we received from your shop — orders, customer profiles, addresses, and transaction details.
- When a customer requests deletion through your Shopify admin: we delete that customer's record from our systems within 30 days, triggered by Shopify's customers/redact webhook.
- Billing and accounting records: non-personal transaction records (amounts, plan IDs, dates — without customer names or contact details) are retained for 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Backups: all backups are encrypted and rotated out within 35 days. Deletion requests apply to live data; data in rolling backups is purged within the next backup cycle.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or using the in-app account deletion option (where available). We will process deletion requests and remove or anonymize data as required by law.
06Security
We take data protection seriously and implement various security measures to protect your information.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS)
- Access controls and authentication
- Periodic security audits
- Regular security updates and patches
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your account credentials confidential.
07User Controls & Revoking Google Access
If you connected the app to your Google account you can:
- Revoke access via Google Account > Security > Third-party apps with account access (myaccount.google.com/permissions)
- Delete your eGrow account and request removal of stored data by contacting us at [email protected]
- Access, update, or correct your personal information through your account settings
- Opt-out of marketing communications by following the unsubscribe link in our emails
Note: Revoking OAuth access prevents further access to new Google data, but does not automatically remove data previously stored by eGrow. To delete previously stored data, submit a deletion request as described above.
08Log Files
eGrow follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit our website and use our platform. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information to improve our ecommerce management services.
09Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, eGrow uses "cookies". These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
We may use third-party services that also use cookies to help us analyze how our platform is used and to serve relevant content. You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options.
10Our Advertising Partners
Some advertisers on our site may use cookies and web beacons. Our advertising partners may include services like Google Ads. Each of our advertising partners has their own Privacy Policy for their policies on user data.
Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on eGrow, which are sent directly to users' browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
eGrow does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13. If we learn we collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.
Online Privacy Policy Only
This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in eGrow. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
